BCBA
Kaylah has worked in homes, schools, clinics, and alternative placement schools for individuals with varying levels of Autism.
Kaylah started her journey in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) after she graduated with her BA in Psychology from Denison University in 2017. She started as an RBT at a clinic for adolescents and teens with intensive behaviors and had no intention of staying in the field and really didn’t know what an RBT was when she took the job.
After only a few weeks she realized how fun ABA could be and how much a team could impact a child’s life. She then completed her M.Ed. degree in curriculum and instruction with an emphasis in ABA through Arizona State University and became a BCBA in August of 2020 after gaining experience in a clinic for early intervention clients.
Kaylah has worked in homes, schools, clinics, and alternative placement schools for individuals with varying levels of Autism. She enjoys working on functional communication training, natural environment teaching, and staff training.
She strives to provide families with a source of ethical ABA that focuses on exploring a child’s skills and behaviors rather than compliance. She enjoys assisting staff and parents in discovering how to use a child’s skills to promote independence and wellbeing.
